The project is a web based tracking and monitoring system for use in an office environment. Where user can track the movement of their employees. The proposed system will use RFID chips to track the physical location of the people being tracked. The system utilizes a multi user role policy system, to provide customizability in terms of which user groups can track which user groups. It uses a “allow, deny” policy ala apache web server’s access control settings to control group privileges. Multiple levels of override-able policies to ensure that the system can be customized to be used in any situation.
